The Day Photos Started to Move
Every day technology surprises us a little more, especially when it turns a simple idea into a giant invention. Instagram (the social network dedicated exclusively to photos) surprised everyone with its app “Boomerang”, which took a quick burst of photos and grouped them as a video, creating the effect of a moving image! Something like the moving portraits in Harry Potter… this simple, novel invention was a hit on every smartphone. In July of last year the idea was taken to a much bigger level: “Phhhoto”. What is it? A social network exclusively for moving photos, where we can explore and post our own moving images. This curious app (which today threatens to steal Instagram’s spotlight) adds one, two and even three new filters a day so we can stretch our creativity even further when making mini-videos. The “phhhotos” exploration mode (that’s what these innovative photos are called in the app), known as “WOW”, shows the artistic direction of this app, inspiring users with a thousand and one ideas whenever they phhhotograph.
